I am a 64-year-old female, who was born in Washington DC and raised on a barrier island in New Jersey. I grew up with the equivalent of a national park as my backyard and I am deeply connected to nature. I went to college and law school in Ohio spent four decades in Southwest Ohio north of Cincinnati, raising a family with my husband. We have recently transitioned to Colorado, to the town of Nederland, which is 3 miles as the crow flies from the Continental Divide, so I am once again surrounded by huge nature, and feel so blessed and so motivated to write. I have written poetry since the age of eight. Writing is a vocation for me that has been often interrupted and always resumed. I have yet to take the leap of technology into social media, but have not ruled it out 🙂 Beth Smith
