The Chattanooga Writers’ Guild is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. As such, we are required to have a Board with four officers. Please consider running for Vice-President! Our current VP is Helga Kidder, one of our founding members. The CWG was created in 2001 with the help of Helga, who has remained a dedicated member ever since.
It’s now time for someone else to volunteer their time. You do not have to have tons of experience or expertise – all you need is a love of writing and a desire to help guide the CWG through the next year. Board meetings are held once a month. Per our bylaws, Vice Presidents are responsible for presiding over these meetings when the President cannot. They also fill the role of President if the President vacates the office.
