“What if I run out of ideas?” is the deepest fear of many writers, but after this class it does not have to be. In this workshop, students walk through the process of understanding how small ideas become big ones, and how to harness the constant flow of inspiration. This workshop is about encouraging students in their own creativity and providing them with tools that they can use any time they are feeling uninspired. Wesley’s instruction will include an exciting mixture of guided help, games, and exercises designed to get those creative juices flowing. Inspiration can come from a smell, a touch, a picture, a taste, a sound, and even from a memory. Students will leave with a minimum of five book/play/screenplay ideas worth writing. It is the perfect class for someone who wants to get into writing. This workshop is geared toward writers, but artists involved in many kinds of media have found it beneficial.
