Chattanooga Writers’ Guild is twenty-five years old! Join us on Saturday, September 12, from 5:00 until 7:00 when we celebrate a quarter century of encouragement and support of the writing community in Chattanooga. We will meet at Greenway Conference Center. (Parking is free, but it’s a popular spot on weekends, so you might consider carpooling. You could park at Northgate and carpool in if you like.)
We will begin at 5:00 with finger foods and dessert. We are asking each member to bring a suitable food item to share. We will provide drinks.
Our founders, Rebecca Cook, Jennifer Hoff, and Helga Kidder, will be on hand to talk about the early days of CWG, and we have several past board members ready to share their memories as well. Several local bookstores have donated items for door prizes. Be sure to get your name in the pot!
We’ll introduce the current board, and members will cast their votes for the incoming board.
Finally, we’ll get a little preview of the newest edition of RidgeCut coming later this fall.
