September call for submissions is Creative Nonfiction with the theme of Be Brave. Writers are invited to interpret that as loosely or closely as they wish. Deadline to submit is September 3o, 2023 with a 1500 word limit. Winners announced in October.
This contest is available to members only. Once logged into your account, the submission form is under the “Members” tab on our homepage. If you need help logging in, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
A few tips when submitting:
- Do not put any identifying information on your submitted document as these are judged blindly. If any identifying information is on the document you attach in the submission form, it will be disqualified.
- Be sure the title of your piece, if any, is included at the top of your submitted document.
- Be careful with grammar and punctuation.
- Only submit using .doc or .docx. Do not submit a .pdf.
