We are open to submissions of Creative Nonfiction with the theme of Be Brave. Writers are invited to interpret that as loosely or closely as they wish. Deadline to submit prose is September 30, 2023 with a 1500 word limit.
Natalie Kimbell, writer and board member, will judge this month’s submissions. Winner will be announced in October.

Our Monthly Contests open on the 1st of each month and close on the last day, with one winner and one runner-up announced the following month. Winners receive $25, and winners and runners-up receive publication in The Pulse and our anthology, and one free copy, available in 2024.
