Starting mid-September, the CWG will need a new tech director. The tech director is responsible for assisting with all things tech behind-the-scenes.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage and maintain Google Workspace for Nonprofits
– Add/remove board user accounts from the organization
– Reset passwords for board members as necessary
– Update/manage mailing groups
– Assist with Google Meet for meetings
– Assist with Google Drive for document storage
– Assist with Google Spaces / Mail for collaboration
* WordPress management
– Create and maintain pages on behalf of the board
– Manage plugins
– Add/update book listings from Book Gallery
– Add/update/expire users as necessary in the membership plugin
– Assist users with issues regarding membership
– Add/remove authorized admin users (board)
– Build new forms as required
* General support
– Respond to requests to tech-support@chattanoogawritersguild.org
– Fix issues in the website when notified

Current tech guy can/will schedule workshops with the new volunteer to ensure a smooth transition and answer any questions.
