Our June Monthly Meeting will feature Paul Luikart

Our next Monthly Meeting will be held Tuesday, June 13th. Paul Luikart will give a presentation called “Compiling the Collection.” It will discuss how to compile and promote a short story collection.

Paul Luikart is the author of the short story collections Animal Heart (Hyperborea Publishing, 2016), Brief Instructions (Ghostbird Press, 2017), Metropolia (Ghostbird Press, 2021), The Museum of Heartache (Pskis Porch Publishing, 2021) and a forthcoming edition in Belle Point Press’ micro-chapbook prose series. His work is included in 2019’s Best Microfiction anthology from Pelekinesis Press and he is the 2019 winner of the Nassau Review’s Writer Award in Prose. He has been twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize and his nonfiction has been nominated for Harper Collins’ Best American Essays series. He serves as an adjunct professor of fiction writing at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. He and his family live in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 

Our Monthly Meetings start at 6:00 Eastern with greetings, news, and accolades, and our presentation starts at 6:30. We meet in person at the Edney Innovation Building on the 5th floor in the large conference room, or online via Google Meet.
