Join us for our Monthly Meeting, featuring Lakweshia Ewing

Our next Monthly Meeting will be Tuesday, April 11th and will feature Lakweshia Ewing. Her presentation is called “BOOK IT: Unlearning the fear to get started on your self published book.”

Lakweshia Ewing holds multiple degrees in Applied Science, Psychology, Education, Organizational Leadership, Africana Studies and Sociology. She currently is the CEO for Unlearn Everything and Live, LLC , a consulting firm with a niche focus on providing racial equity, inclusion and organizational team building strategies. Lakweshia has personally received many notable awards, recognitions and certifications, such as Harvard Business School Young American Leader Award, Start Up CHA-Chattanooga
Eco-System Builder of the Year, Urban league Whitney M Young Humanitarian of the Year, University of Pennsylvania Research Scholars Award, Chattanooga Tennessee Top 20 under 40 young professional leaders Award, International Church of God in Christ Achievers “Top 20 Under 40,” Urban League Small Business of the Year recipient, City of Memphis Award of Merit, Footprints Foundation Community Leader Award, National Next City Vanguard class member, Stanford University Design Thinking certification John Maxwell Leadership Development certification. She has been featured in Huffington Post, Washington Post and several other notable media publications.

To attend our meeting, you can join us in person in the large conference room on the 5th floor of the Edney Innovation Building at the corner of Market and 11th Street downtown starting at 6:00 PM Eastern. The Edney locks its doors at 6:30, so please don’t be late! Street parking is free after 6:00, or there is a nice lot behind the Bessie Smith Cultural Center just a couple blocks away.
