There are multiple categories available for submissions, including: Drama Feature, Comedy Feature, Horror, Sci-Fi, Short, Drama Teleplay, Comedy Teleplay, Scripted Digital Series, Playwriting and Fiction Podcast.

Below are some deadlines to be aware of:
FEATURE SCREENPLAY
Early Bird Deadline: March 25 ($50)
Regular Deadline: April 18 ($65)
Late Deadline: May 16th ($80)
SHORT SCREENPLAY & TELEPLAY
Early Bird Deadline: March 25 ($40)
Regular Deadline: April 18 ($55)
Late Deadline: May 16th ($65)
SCRIPTED DIGITAL SERIES
Early Bird Deadline: March 25 ($40)
Regular Deadline: April 18 ($55)
Late Deadline: May 16th ($65)
Extended Deadline: July 8 ($60)
SCRIPTED FICTION PODCAST
Early Deadline: April 18 ($40)
Regular Deadline: May 16th ($45)

There are also several award and fellowship categories that can be added onto the writer’s submission for an extra $20. These categories may not be applicable to all categories listed above.
One of these categories in particular, is the Enderby Entertainment Award category. The Enderby Award is open to Drama and Comedy feature submissions. Additionally, we have the Rooster Teeth BIPOC Fellowship, as well as the Rooster Teeth Women & Animation Fellowship, which are both open to most categories.
