About
Sue Carol Elvin studied at Gulf Coast Community, Memphis State and Christian Brothers Colleges. She has been writing stories for over 50 years and has one published book, The Memory Guardians. Sue Carol was privileged to travel with her husband, Peter, on three tours overseas when he was Chief Engineer on ships carrying U.S.A.I.D. They also have had a sailing school; were a host family to language students and then medical students. She has much fodder for writing from these ventures. Now retired and settled in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the Elvin’s play bridge, attend the symphony and theater when possible, and enjoy travel. They are also involved with the Unitarian Universalists in Ellijay, GA as well as Chattanooga. As a woman raised in the Jim Crow south, Sue Carol has a keen since of social justice that reflected throughout her writing. Her website is sc-writes.com
