I’m an elementary teacher with over sixteen years in the classroom. I think of myself first and foremost as a writing teacher. I’ve taught writing both as a standalone class and as part of daily lessons in the elementary classroom. I was a teacher consultant and leader with the Middle Tennessee Writing Project before moving to Chattanooga. I write to figure out what I think, to process, and to better understand myself and others. Writing is magic and I long to be in community with people who feel the same.
