The critique group devoted to creative nonfiction and poetry has been operating in some form for twenty-five years now. As a group, we’ve seen lots of growth and success over the years. Recently our numbers have dwindled, so we’re putting out the word in case some of you are unaware of this group.
We currently meet online the first Tuesday of each month. Sherry Poff and John C. Mannone share leadership of the group. Members share work on Zoom and offer suggestions and encouragement to one another. We generally have about twenty minutes for each piece, depending on total members present.
Attendees are welcome to share a poem in progress or a selection of creative nonfiction. This last can include short memoir pieces, historical reflections, or personal essays–to name only a few. You can also just sit in to offer suggestions and learn.
