Hello again to all members of the CWG! March is here and it’s our big push for membership!
As your elected Treasurer, and as a longtime CWG member, I am again presenting a personal request and challenge for all of you: We have made March into our “March 2026 Membership Drive!” month, so now is the final chance for all of us to do the extra push to encourage new members.
The Board will be informing you through this newsletter and on the webpage of some of the exciting programming and initiatives that we are planning for Chattanooga Writers’ Guild throughout this year, which is the 25th Anniversary of the organization!
I am inviting every one of you to spread the word about CWG, and of our interesting and vital offerings. Growing the membership will help us to sustain the Guild and to ensure that we continue for many years to come!
We also are hopeful that many of you will step forward to help on various committees.
Are you currently part of a critique group? Have a writing partner? Are you participating in or are a member of any of the other writers’ groups and events in the Chattanooga area?
If you can answer yes to any of these: then you are in a perfect position to enthusiastically speak well of the CWG and ask for your fellow writers to look into us. A simple invitation/suggestion to attend a Monthly Meeting, and our webpage link, are wonderful ways to introduce us to your colleagues and friends.
Chattanooga Writers’ Guild can only be as strong as we “The Members” make it!
