McCracken Poston Jr, of Ringgold, Georgia, was named 2025 Georgia Independent Author of the Year by the Georgia Association of Independent Authors, and his book, “Zenith Man: Death, Love, and Redemption in a Georgia Courtroom ” (Citadel 2024), won the 2025 Georgia Spotlight Award by the GAIA. The book was a finalist for the national 2024 CrimeCon Clue Award for True Crime Book of the Year.
