Abstract: Spokenword poetry, hip hop, and slam all originated from the idea of storytelling.  It has been used as a means of communication, history, activism, and encouragement. You can learn a lot about a person by listening to their stories written in a performance style. In this workshop, we will talk about rhythm and movement of spokenword,

Rhea Carmon, also known by her stage moniker, RheaSunshine, has been writing and performing spoken word poetry and slam for 20 years.
