Judith Treiber

Judy moved to Chattanooga from Newnan, Georgia two years ago when her daughter married a Chattanooga man. She has lived in various areas of the USA…. Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia and California…. and says she has found her niche here in Tennessee. While in California, she attended Yucaipa Community College.

Over the years, Judy has been a Women’s ministry leader and speaker. While working in the president’s office at Campus Crusade for Christ she routinely gave the morning devotional for Dr. Bright’s staff and other ministries under the umbrella of CCC. She was involved in proofreading material slated for mail-outs and also edited videotapes from the Fasting and Prayer Conferences for select material to be published by the ministry in the future. While living in California she was a content editor for a well-known Christian writer.

From a repository of teaching material, Judy is now working on a daily devotional. Also, with the help of her two sisters, she is writing a memoir about the life of her grandfather who worked in the Anthracite coal region of Pennsylvania, circa 1930’s.

Judy is a widow, has one married daughter and a grandpuppy named Bailey, who has sleepovers from time to time at Grandma’s place.

She has been a CWG member for over a year and feels the Guild has helped her in transitioning from speaking to writing. Judy says, “Because of mobility challenges in my life, I have channeled my creativity into writing and it has opened a whole new path to journey.”
