Ellen Todosichuk has dreamed up stories and poetry in her head
since she was young. Poetry doesn’t come as easily anymore,
unless triggered by an emotion or memory, and she has turned
her attention to Christian fiction. Ellen has written one novel,
which is currently residing in a three ring binder on a shelf
until she can figure out how to make it publishable. She is
working on a second novel, already much better (in her mind)
than the first, and hopes to finish it somewhere in the middle
of her many other interests.
Being a stay home mother of a busy two year old takes up most
of Ellen's time, along with play dates, Women’s Ministry
at church, some work with the children’s division at church,
three writer’s groups, sewing, crochet, playing guitar
with a bluegrass group, and the regular daily activities of
life such as housework.
Ellen is from Wyoming and has been married for almost seven
years to a wonderful Canadian guy. The two met in
Memphis, which in itself is a cool story, and their family
has been thoroughly blessed by the adoption of a daughter,
whom they were able to hold minutes after her birth.
Ellen is a nurse and worked a combination of staff and agency
positions for a number of years before their daughter came to
the family. She has one short story published in an international
magazine.
