Reggie
Jay is the lucky wife of Rusty, the blessed mom of three daughters
and Nana GG to six! Along the way, she worked as a legal assistant
in the area of civil law and found it not always civil. She
began in the area of domestic relations and personal injury
and, later, Reggie found being a title searcher for real property
fed her interest in local history. By the time she ended her
work in the legal field, she was performing residential and
commercial real estate closings.
She has enjoyed volunteer work in church including teaching
various classes to children, teens and adults. Reggie discovered
her gift of organization helped lend itself to coordinating
events such as: church fairs, women’s mission work, and
youth missions, and the monumental task of being the department
head to large group who produced a Judgment House.
Love of the written word has been a constant in her life.
Presently, she is happily unemployed and devoting herself to
finishing a first novel and working on various short stories.
She is also researching and collecting material for two non-fiction
works she hopes to have published. Being convinced that others
are interested in her life she publishes a blog at Queenb-write@livejournal.com.
She is also a member of the Knoxville Writer’s Guild.
When not writing, she can often be found cruising down the
Riverwalk on her Trek, hiking the trails around Eastern Tennessee,
photographing Tennessee historical markers, or lurking about
cemeteries.
