These groups provide opportunities for our members to meet in critique groups and share feedback on their writing. Each group is unique and sets its own schedule. Visitors are welcome but contact the group leader for more information. Meetings change time and location from time to time. You are encouraged to visit several before joining a group at which time you are expected to be a dues paying CWG member to participate on a regular basis.
If you don’t see a group you want, we encourage you to start a new group!

40 Frazier Avenue Make your writing come alive before the audience. If you want to develop your presentations and expand your repertoire of live performance with critique from other members, this group is for you. Whether you want to read your written work at readings and open mics, or you are a performance poet or a spoken word artist, you are welcome in the spoken word group. This group will meet in September, October and November. Continuation beyond that date depends on a Guild member being willing to take on a leadership role.
Please email us at email@example.com if you are interested in leading a new group or know of other area writing events.
