King Oehmig, creator and Editor-in-Chief of Synthesis Publications, is also author of the highly acclaimed books Between the Lines, Beyond the Words, and most recently Understanding the Sunday Scriptures. This is a Companion to The Revised Common Lectionary, Year A, and he has created meditative CDs, Soul Openings: A Synthesis of Sacred Tunes and Texts. He has been an ordained Episcopal priest for 30 years, and is recently retired from St. Barnabas Church in Trion, Georgia. He also coaches the boys’ and girls’ golf teams at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He and his family reside in Chattanooga.
