In
fall of 2006, I became a full-time freelance writer after
working for eighteen years as an engineer.
Much of my writing is in the areas of health and fitness,
the environment, gardening, Americana, Southern nonfiction,
human interest, technical, and how-tos. Besides several
Georgia newspapers, my work has appeared in Grit, Mother
Earth News, Atlanta Life Magazine, American Fitness Magazine, Points
North Magazine, and many others. I also write a monthly
column for the The Calhoun Times focusing on memories,
relationships, and observations that I have experienced
living in the South.
I'm just weeks away from completing my first book
proposal - a nonfiction book idea that a friend and I have
developed. Please keep your fingers crossed for us..
