Katherine
Ladny Mitchell graduated from Covenant College in 2007 with a
degree in Sociology. She joined the Chattanooga Writers' Guild
in the fall of 2008 and is a member of the Writers for the Christian
Market critique subgroup. She recently won fanstory.com's
Non-fiction Faith writing contest for the story of her engagement.
Katherine is currently working on a non-fiction book about being
a part of God's story and allowing Him to be the Author in life
and love. She has also completed a rhyming children's picture
book manuscript regarding a doctor's quirky cures for the hiccups.
She hopes to publish it soon with her talented sister's bold illustrations.
In addition to these projects, Katherine also enjoys songwriting,
singing, firebreathing, and having friends over for tea. Katherine
lives in North Chattanooga with her husband, Jason, and son, Elijah
Jordan.
