Chattanooga Writers Guild Monthly Meeting Tuesday, November 10, 2009 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library Dr. Peter Messmore, a retired professor, will speak at the CWG's monthly meeting. He taught, conducted research, and was the Executive Director of the Genesis Teacher Education Project at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida. He currently writes books and travels the world extensively. Accompanied by a Power Point presentation, Dr. Messmore will speak on his two historical novels: Philip and Olympias: A Novel of Ancient Macedon, 2001. Philip and Olympias were the parents of Alexander the Great. Philip's third wife, the beautiful and vindictive Olympias, became his only unconquerable enemy.
