New Voices Poetry Reading
Member Kevin Brown on Writer's Almanac, Reading at Lee University October 20
Kevin's poem "Diagramming Won't Help This Situation" will be read on The Writer's Almanac on Monday, October 19. Kevin Brown will also read from his new collection of poems Exit Lines October 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Edna Minor Conn Theater at Lee University. There will be a brief Q&A afterwards. Christian Market Critique Group Meets Tuesday, October 20 Marcia Swearingen reminds Writers for the Christian Market of the group's meeting this Tuesday, Oct. 20, at First Presbyterian Church, 6-8 pm in the Tower, Room 405. A book signing for Poetic Voices: Young Poets with Old Souls Glenwood Recreation Center, Sunday, October 18, 2009, 2:00 p.m. Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga, the Department of Parks and Recreation, and the Department of Education, Arts, and Culture sponsored the book project, part of the pARTicipate program, which featured special arts activities funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, Allied Arts, and the City of Chattanooga.
