Nonfiction Meeting
It is time again for the nonfiction meeting. Bring essays, news releases, personal stories, or whatever you're writing. It helps to have multiple copies. The meeting is Tuesday, February 24 at 7:00 at New Hope Presbyterian Church on Shallowford Road.
I will not be able to attend, but a couple of regulars have agreed to take care of things. I'll see you next month--or at another group meeting.
Sherry

WritingRaw.com
WritingRaw.com is a FREE literary sharing website (like YouTube but for the literary world) where writers can upload, view and share their writing. The only restriction is that the material cannot be illegal inany sense of the word (such as child porn, plagiarism, etc.). Other than that, feel free to post in any of the following categories: FICTION, POETRY, NONFICTION, REMEMBRANCE, and ASSORTED writings
There is no catch here. ALL writings will be posted.

Websites of Interest to Writers
Authonomy.com A slush pile if you have a book that you want to be read by other, suggestions given and yes, read by editors at HarperCollins and maybe even an agent. If nothing else you can read some good books -- some great books and sit back and ask yourself why they are not published. http://www.authonomy.com/
Bookarmy.com This is HarperCollins' version of how to find a good book to read. http://www.bookarmy.com/

Please send writer news, accomplishments, opportunities, contests, etc. to Karen H. Phillips, kphillipso@aol.com .
If at all possible, submit one week in advance. For example, if you're a writers' group leader, submit your meeting information one week before your meeting, as it otherwise may not be published in time. Thanks for all the helpful information you send--we writers thrive with support and encouragement!
