Another Open Mic Night
Thunder Rock Writers Open Mic Night will be held February 19 at 7:00pm in the breakfast room of the Jameson Inn. The group welcomes the public to enjoy a night of reading by local writers. We welcome writers of poetry, fiction, or non-fiction to reserve their slot. For more information contact

WTCI has new Show of Interest to Writers
The A List with Alison Lebovitz premieres on WTCI, Thursday, Feb. 5 at 8:30 p.m.
If you have ever wondered what it would be like to sit down and have a conversation with one of the creative minds of our time - like Pulitzer Prize winner Doris Kearns Goodwin - then tune into WTCI-TV (PBS) on Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 5 for The A List with Alison Lebovitz. Produced locally by WTCI-TV (PBS), The A List with Alison Lebovitz is an engaging one-on-one weekly interview series that will feature local and national personalities.
The premiere episode will feature part one of a two part interview with Jon Meacham, best-selling author, editor of Newsweek and Chattanooga native. Meacham's latest book, American Lion: Andrew Jackson in the White House, hit the New York Times best seller list when it debuted in November 2008. Part two of the Meacham interview will debut on February 12th. Don't miss this exciting new series!
