November 15, 2008 Poetry Writing Retreat in Sweetwater, Tn. The Knoxville Writers’ Guild will host a poetry writing retreat on November 15, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the former Orr Mountain Winery building between Sweetwater and Madisonville, Tennessee. The instructor will be poet and teacher KB Ballentine. The deadline for registering is November 1. The Writer's Loft at Tennessee StateThe Writer's Loft is excited to have two full days of events for the September orientation weekend, Friday and Saturday, September 12th-13th. Friday sessions have a limited number of spots available to the public on a first come, first serve basis. Friday morning will feature a three-hour workshop by novelist Darnell Arnoult (
